Miss Cindy established Cynthia K. Franck’s Child Cares in September of 1977 and currently has three centers in the Penn Hills/ Verona/ Forest Hills areas. She is a past member of various local and state early learning associations and is a current member of the Association for Early Learning Leaders. Over the years, she has served on several state and local boards concerning Early Childhood Education. In the past, she has enjoyed working with Forbes CTC Child Care where she participated in several Entrepreneurship Days. She also worked with the Governor’s Office during the early days of establishing the CACFP and the subsidized funding system for working parents. She is a past winner of several local and regional “Small Business Awards” and “Women in Small Business Awards.”
Miss Melissa- Miss Melissa has worked at Franck’s Child Care since 1992. She has several years of classroom experience and currently serves as Executive Director, overseeing the daily operations and administration of all three sites. Miss Melissa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a minor in Industrial Relations along with 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education. She has attended Several National Association of Child Care Professional Conferences and has participated in Forbes CTC Entrepreneurship Days.
Miss Gina has been working at Franck’s Child Care since 1998. She has experience working in both the School Age program and as a Younger Toddler teacher. Miss Gina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with dual minors in Elementary and Early Childhood Education along with both a PA Private Nursery School teacher certificate and a PA Director’s Credential. She has also attended several National Association of Child Care Professionals Conferences.
Miss Laura has been with Franck’s Child Care since 1993. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Child & Family Studies and is the Director at our Forest Hills Site.
Miss Trena has been with Franck’s Child Care since 2016. She has an Associate’s Degree in Teacher Education and has had a CDA in Preschool Development. She is a Preschool teacher at our Forest Hills site.
Mr. Jamie has been working at Franck’s Child Care since 2015. He is the Cook at our Forest Hills site.
Miss Mary Beth has been working at Franck’s Child Care since 2015. She is working towards renewing her CDA in Infant/Toddler Development. Miss Mary Beth is a Younger Toddler teacher at our Forest Hills site.
Miss Jordan is an Older Toddler teacher at our Forest Hills site.
Miss Kneasha comes to us with several years of experience. She will have her CDA in Infant/Toddler Development in Spring of 2023. She is an Older Toddler teacher at our Forest Hills site.

Miss Donna has been with Franck’s Child Care since 1994. She has several years’ experience as both an Older Toddler and a Preschool teacher. She is currently the Director at the Penn Hills site. Miss Donna has an Associate’s Degree in Child & Family Studies.
Miss Chris has been with Franck’s Child Care since 2015. She has her CDA in Infant/Toddler Development. Miss Chris is the Infant Room teacher at our Penn Hills site.
Miss Tammi has been working for Franck’s Child Care since 2015. Miss Tammi holds an Associate’s Degree in Teacher Education and is the Younger Toddler teacher at our Penn Hills site.
